Scotland to Newcastle Ferry

As you walk across the estate to Castle Point you look back and see the Lindisfarne Castle Lime Kilns. Along the coastline you see thousands of rocks that have been piled up high into 'dunes' by the waves in rough weather. People have had a lot of fun making rock cairns, spelling out their names on the green grass or other artistic creations. There is no sand on the beach, only rocks.
